Chris Bassitt is packing up and heading west after he was traded to the Oakland A’s this week as part of a deal that will send All-Star pitcher Jeff Samardzija to the Windy City. And he has no intention of bringing any of his old White Sox gear with him.
On Wednesday, Bassitt wrote on Twitter that he is giving his followers a chance to win some of his White Sox stuff.

Have we ever seen a professional athlete give stuff away on Twitter? Sure we have — on more than one occasion. Have we ever seen a pitcher give away all of his old stuff after being traded? I certainly haven’t.
