You can always tell when sports news is big if it crosses over onto a College GameDay sign. Which means for the Houston Astros, it’s their unlucky day.
Allegations of an elaborate electronic sign-stealing operation run by the Astros have dominated sports news this week, and one College GameDay attendee came up with a very clever sign to get some attention.

Explicitly college football-related? Not really. Funny and inventive? Yes, absolutely.
As for the Astros, the reality is this is probably going to be their public perception for quite a while, and they’re going to have to find a way to get used to it. The optics are probably going to make them cringe, but they’re probably in line for some rougher moments still to come as the investigation continues — especially if some rival executives get their wish.
