Corey Seager unsure of status for World Series if Dodgers advance
Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is set to miss the NLCS with a back problem, and there’s little clarity for him even if his team advances without him.
Seager hurt his back during Game 3 of the NLDS against Arizona on a slide, and was left off the roster completely for the NLCS. Given that the series hasn’t even started yet, it’s premature to think of what might happen if the Dodgers advance to the World Series — but Seager has thought about it, and while he’s hopeful of playing in a Fall Classic, he is not sure.
Corey Seager is hopeful but isn't sure if he'll be able to play if the Dodgers advance to the World Series.

Beyond the back issues, Seager has battled an elbow problem, which may have attributed to the fact that he hit .210 with little power in September. Despite his injuries, he’s a key part of the Dodger offense, and they will miss him.
