Corey Seager not on NLCS roster due to back injury
A back injury will keep Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager off of the team’s roster for the National League Championship Series.
Seager injured his back during Game 3 of the NLDS between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks while sliding into second base. He subsequently missed team workouts on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, the Dodgers announced their All-Star would be left of the NLCS roster.

The exclusion of Seager is obviously a big blow to the Dodgers. However, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times wondered out loud if the Dodgers may get creative with an injury to get Seager back on the roster at some point during the series against the Cubs.
I would not put it past the Dodgers to DL someone to get Corey Seager back into this series, at some point.

The Dodgers could find an injury, but it would have to be a real one, and that player wouldn't be eligible for the World Series.

MLB Network shared this graphic of how the Dodgers performed this season with Seager in the starting lineup compared to when he was not in the starting lineup.
