Curt Schilling shares photo proof of bloody ankle
Curt Schilling decided to address the whole myth surrounding his bloody ankle once and for all.
Schilling on Wednesday tweeted a photo showing what his ankle looked like during the 2004 postseason, hilariously saying it was for all the “ketchup dinks”:

Schilling injured his ankle late in the season and was hit hard in his first start of the ALCS. Doctors tried to stabilize a tendon in his ankle by sewing skin tissue to his leg, which allowed him to pitch through the injury and help the Sox beat the Yankees 4-2 in Game 6.
The way Schilling posted the photo was pretty funny. Like I’ve always said, I was told by a good source that despite Schilling having a tendency to exaggerate and be dramatic, the injury was genuine. This picture seems to prove that.
