David Fry beats Yankees with huge walk-off home run in ALCS Game 3
David Fry did it again for Cleveland.
The man who helped force a Game 5 in the ALDS against the Detroit Tigers came up huge during Game 3 of the ALCS between his Guardians and the New York Yankees on Thursday night.
Fry was facing Yankees closer Clay Schmidt during the bottom of the 10th inning at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio, and had a runner on third with two outs. Fry got a 1-2 hanging sinker from Schmidt and sent it over the high wall in left field for a walk-off 2-run home run.

Fry knew it was gone the moment he hit it and dropped his bat and began to walk down the first base line.
Fry had entered the game in the 7th as a pinch-hitter for Kyle Manzardo, who had also homered in the game. Manager Stephen Vogt ended up getting two home runs from that spot in the lineup.
The Guardians won the game 7-5 and now trail the Yankees 2-1 in the series.
