David Price says Red Sox fans have given him ‘good’ support
Few players are under more pressure to perform in the postseason than David Price.
Price is in his third season with the Boston Red Sox and had a solid regular season, going 16-7 with a 3.58 ERA. However, his career postseason struggles continued, as he took a loss in the ALDS against the New York Yankees.
Through the ups-and-downs, Price said Saturday that the fan support has been good.
David Price said Red Sox fans have treated him well: "Everything has been good from fans, out and about, warming up in the bullpen or going to the bullpen. They've supported me the entire year. I feel like it's been good."

Price has had times during his career where he’s snapped and lashed out when feeling defensive. Perhaps feeling like he is supported by the fans will help him turn things around in October.
For his career, Price is 2-9 with a 5.28 ERA in the postseason. He is set to start Game 2 of the ALCS against the Houston Astros.
