Watch: Derek Dietrich pimped this home run so hard
Derek Dietrich homered against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday and pimped the shot so dang hard.
Dietrich was facing Alex McRae with his Cincinnati Reds up 6-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning. He smashed a full count pitch deep to right for a clean dinger. Dietrich knew the ball was gone as soon as he hit it and pimped it hard. He also took his sweet time circling the bases in about 30 seconds.

As if Dietrich pimping his shot wasn’t bad enough, Yasiel Puig rubbed things in even more by going back-to-back.
The pimp job by Dietrich marks the continuation of some beef between the teams. Back in early April, the teams were involved in a bench-clearing incident that began because of Dietrich admiring a home run.
Maybe he had this one planned out specifically because it was against the Pirates.
That was Dietrich’s 14th homer of the season and Puig’s 10th. The Reds won the game 8-1 but split their doubleheader.
