Report: Dodgers showing interest in Wade Davis, Lorenzo Cain
The Kansas City Royals organization appears to be piquing the interest of the Los Angeles Dodgers this offseason.
According to a report by Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times on Monday, the Dodgers have shown interest in Royals closer Wade Davis and outfielder Lorenzo Cain. It is unclear however if Kansas City is willing to sell with both players under contract for the 2017 season.
The Dodgers have shown interest in Royals closer Wade Davis and outfielder Lorenzo Cain, sources say. Unclear if KC ready to sell.

The Dodgers may have a need at both positions with incumbent closer Kenley Jansen a free agent and outfielder Josh Reddick already having signed with the Houston Astros last month. We heard recently that Davis could be available for the right price, and whether or not his fellow All-Star teammate Cain joins him on the trading block remains to be seen.
