The MLB All-Star Game rosters have been set, and one of the biggest snubs is a Los Angeles Dodgers player.
Starting pitcher Justin Wrobleski is not on the National League roster despite having a 10-2 record with a 2.69 ERA. As a result, Wrobleski admitted it was a “frustrating” outcome.
“You want to be an All-Star,” Wrobleski said, via Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. “It’s something that, regardless of the year, whenever, it’s always a big deal. It’s something I wanted to do. It’s frustrating to not get that nod.”
The Dodgers pitcher added that he can “gain the respect of players and everybody else and maybe be in there next year.”
Wrobleski, who turns 26 in July, appeared in 32 games combined over the previous two seasons for LA. In 2024, he had a 5.70 in eight games, and in 2025, he went 5-5 with a 4.32 ERA in 24 games.
However, this season has been a revelation for Wrobleski. In 16 appearances, he has thrown 100.1 innings and is just outside the top 10 in ERA across MLB.
The NL already announced a few replacements, with each of Paul Skenes, Jacob Misiorowski and Max Meyer not participating, but Wrobleski was not one of the replacement choices.
There is still a scenario where Wrobleski gets named a replacement, especially with Yoshinobu Yamamoto not expected to pitch in the All-Star Game.
