Dodgers, Kenley Jansen reportedly agree to five-year deal
Kenley Jansen is reportedly staying in the City of Angels.
The closer is staying with the Los Angeles Dodgers on a five year, $80 million deal, according to reports.
Told Jansen's deal with #Dodgers will be 5 yrs, $80M, so having qualifying offer means roughly $1M less a yr than Chapman got from #yankees

Jansen still gets a lot of money while remaining in a place where he is comfortable and knows he has a chance of winning. The Dodgers keep their best back-end reliever in the fold. It’s a deal that works for both sides.
Los Angeles did have to see off interest from another team who reportedly offered more money, but ultimately, the Dodgers were the choice.
