Hayden Hopkins expecting baby with MLB All-Star, not Mark Davis
Hayden Hopkins is pregnant with a baby fathered by an MLB All-Star, not Mark Davis.
On Monday, an NFL-centric X account went viral after erroneously stating that Hopkins, a dancer, was pregnant with Davis’ baby. Their information was based off Hopkins’ pregnancy announcement from a month ago, coupled with the fact that she was shown on TV watching a Raiders-Chargers game from Davis’ owners suite in 2022.
The report was so erroneous that Hopkins posted a statement on X Tuesday to shoot down the rumor that Davis had impregnated her. In her statement, Hopkins stated that she and “Joey” were excited to welcome their baby in the fall.
Well, it turns out that “Joey” is none other than former 2-time MLB All-Star Joey Gallo.
TMZ Sports says that Davis and Hopkins were never dating and she just happened to be a guest in his suite. They also say her pregnancy with Gallo was planned.
Gallo plays for the Washington Nationals, which is his fifth team. He began his career with the Texas Rangers and won two Gold Gloves and made the All-Star team twice during his time with them.
Gallo is batting .138 in 33 games this season and has missed time due to a shoulder injury. He has slugged 202 home runs during his MLB career but has struggled with his average and has a .195 career batting average.
