Jean Segura showed some resiliency on Tuesday night by shaking it off after getting hit in the head by a pitch and remaining in the game.
Segura was drilled in the bottom of the fourth of the Brewers’ game against the Cardinals that put men on first and second. Though he obviously was somewhat out of sorts after getting hit, he refocused and even scored later in the inning on an RBI double by Carlos Gomez.
Segura only hit .246 last season in a down year, so many were expecting a bounce-back season for him. Hopefully this won’t derail him.
