A delusional former baseball player is campaigning on Twitter to be written in on the ballot for this year’s MLB All-Star Game. Of course it’s Jose Canseco! Who else would it be? This was the kind of comedy we thought we lost when his account was briefly shut down last week.
But here was Canseco in true form on Wednesday night, asking all of us to “do” history:
Haters and Cansecomaniacs. Let’s do history. Please write me in MLB all star ballot. That’s all I ask. One wish in whole world.

I guess if somebody from the A’s has to make it, why not make it Jose Canseco? Let’s help him out, Cansecomanics! What else do you have to do besides everything?
In theory, though, you could also write in Godzilla and Donald Duck if you wanted to, but you’d just be wasting your time. Sadly, Canseco has just as much chance of playing in the all-star game as those two do.
