Terrance Gist is but a mere Little League baseball player. But if you gave the South Carolina star a chance to take a few swings in a major league ballpark, he would almost certainly deposit at least one pitch into the bleachers.
During the third inning of his team’s 7-1 win over Rhode Island on Friday, Gist smashed a ball that traveled an estimated 381 feet to left-center field. Considering it also cleared what looked like a 40-foot light tower, it’s safe to assume the hit would have been a homer in most MLB stadiums.
And the best thing about Gist’s monstrous home run? It came while his mom was being interviewed by ESPN.

Gist could probably do the same thing that we saw Marcell Ozuna do earlier this week. A tip of the cap to you, young man.
