Jacob Misiorowski left many Little Leaguers with a core memory they’ll never forget.
The hard-throwing Milwaukee Brewers ace is known to be a big fan and collector of Pokemon cards, and he shared that passion on Sunday.
The Brewers played the Atlanta Braves at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pa., for the annual Little League Classic, but before the game, Misiorowski spent some time ripping Pokemon packs while surrounded by several Little Leaguers.

The two-time All-Star hurler surely loved the overall experience of being around young baseball players who look up to him and other big leaguers.
“It was definitely overwhelming, but it was fun to be a little superhero for those guys,” Misiorowski said, via Adam McCalvy of MLB’s site.
“It’s still weird going around Milwaukee and people recognize me there. It’s been a whirlwind, it’s been busy and everything has been crazy about it.
It wasn’t an entirely sweet evening for Misiorowski and the Brewers, however, as the Braves denied Milwaukee of a series sweep with a 4-2 win.
Despite the loss, the Brewers are almost a virtual lock to make the MLB playoffs with an 81-50 record entering Monday, the best record in the majors overall and six games better than their rivals in the National League Central.
