Orioles reportedly continue to hear from teams about Manny Machado
There has not been any movement on the Manny Machado trade front, though it’s not for a lack of teams trying.
MLB Network’s Jon Morosi reported on Thursday that teams interested in trading for Machado continue to reach out to the Baltimore Orioles.

The Orioles entered the Winter Meetings with Machado on the trade block, but they pulled him off the market after not receiving offers to their liking. That seemed like a ploy by Baltimore to try and increase the quality of offers they were receiving.
Machado will be a free agent after 2018, and the Orioles are highly unlikely to meet his asking price, which is why they’re entertaining the idea of trading him now. Of all the teams interested in him, one NL club seems to have offered the most enticing package.
