Matt Harvey is keeping his options open when it comes to his upcoming free agency. Well, most of his options, anyway.
Harvey pitched on Tuesday for the Cincinnati Reds, allowing three runs over five innings in a 4-3 loss. The start marked Harvey’s last of the year for Cincinnati. Since he’s going to be a free agent after the season, he was asked about his free agent plans and shared that he’s open to signing with all but one team.
Matt Harvey said he was open to just about anything in free agency, but… "There's only one team out there I would not sign with, that's about it."

You can guess what team that is.
Harvey was drafted by the New York Mets and played his entire career with them until they traded him to the Reds this season. Though he became a star for the Mets and helped them reach the World Series, his time with the team was met with controversies and questions about his character. They even seemed to smear him on his way out the door, which undoubtedly did not sit well with him.
Harvey has expressed an openness to remaining with the Reds in the future.
