The Washington Nationals appear to be facing a deepening relief crisis.
On Wednesday, the Nationals placed reliever Kelvin Herrera on the 10-day disabled list with a right rotator cuff impingement, which could sideline him for a while.

Shoulder injuries are nothing to mess with if you’re a pitcher, and Herrera will likely be out a while. He has struggled for a while, posting a 4.76 ERA since being acquired by the Nationals, so the question is whether this has bothered him for some time.
As for the Nationals, they’ve shipped out a couple relievers for non-performance reasons. Perhaps the team will come to regret that as their bullpen thins.
