Mike Rizzo reached the pinnacle of his profession when his Washington Nationals won the World Series in late October. The longtime team general manager has been celebrating ever since.
Rizzo offered a funny quote on Monday about what he’s been up to over the past month. Not only did his team win the World Series, but he also got married in Jamaica. According to MASN’s Mark Zuckerman, Rizzo says he has been drunk for a month.

Rizzo, 58, has been with the Nats since 2007. He has been in his current role as President of Baseball Operations/General Manager since 2013. They have made the playoffs five times since 2012, though this was the first time they had advanced past the divisional round of the playoffs.
