The Baltimore Orioles are showing their support of teammate Trey Mancini as he battles cancer.
Mancini had a malignant tumor removed from his colon in March, a week after the tumor was discovered during a colonoscopy.
On Saturday, the Orioles held a Zoom call where members of the organization shared support for Mancini. They all held up sheets of paper with the hashtag “#f16ht” on them.

The No. 16 for the “I” and “G” in “fight” represent Mancini’s jersey number with the Orioles.
The 28-year-old has developed into a nice player for Baltimore. He led the team with 35 home runs, 97 RBIs, and an .899 OPS last season and finished third in Rookie of the Year voting in 2017.
