President Trump booed at Nationals Park for Game 5 of World Series
President Donald Trump attended Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night between the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros at Nationals Park and got booed when shown on the big screen.
The Nats host military members at every home game and honor them with a salute after the third inning of every game. After the salute, President Trump was introduced and got booed:
For the purpose of context, the #Nationals host military members at every home game and the "wave your caps" salute occurs after the third inning of every game. This was a new twist.

Trump had the idea to attend Game 5 of the World Series, which was the final World Series home game in DC before the series returned to Houston. He gave some consideration to throwing out the first pitch but decided not to — he would have needed a lot of body armor due to safety concerns.
Asked if he would throw 1st pitch, Pres Trump said: “I don't know, they got to dress me up in a lot of heavy armor-I’ll look too heavy” (h/t pooler @TomHowellJr)
