Rangers go viral over epic reunion picture celebrating Adrian Beltre’s HOF election
Adrian Beltre had the Texas Avengers assemble for him this week.
The retired third baseman Beltre was officially elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame on Wednesday as part of the class of 2024 (with Todd Helton and Joe Mauer). In his first year on the ballot, Beltre commanded a whopping 95.1 percent of the vote, well over the 75-percent threshold for enshrinement.
To celebrate Beltre’s big achievement, many of his old Texas Rangers teammates reunited at GlobeLife Field with him. The Rangers posted an epic group picture featuring the who’s who of former MLBers who played with Beltre.
Take a look.

You may recognize many of those faces. Along with Beltre in the front row of that group pic were Ivan Rodriguez, Shin-Soo Choo, Elvis Andrus, Robinson Chirinos, Michael Young, Ian Kinsler, David Murphy, and Craig Gentry. The back row had Shawn Tolleson, Derek Holland, Mike Adams, Cole Hamels, Tanner Scheppers, and Darren Oliver.
That is 32 combined All-Star appearances and 21 total Gold Glove Awards represented in one picture. There is also an AL MVP Award (courtesy of Pudge) and a World Series MVP Award (courtesy of Hamels).
Beltre played eight total seasons for the Rangers from 2011-18 and was a major driving force behind their 2011 AL pennant victory. While his Texas teammates often messed with him, Beltre was a very beloved figure in the clubhouse, and that much showed with how many of them came out to celebrate with him this week.
