
The Boston Red Sox and Eduardo Nunez have agreed to a deal, according to reports.
Fan Rag Sports’ Robert Murray reports that Nunez’s deal with Boston is for one year with an option for a second year.

The deal is pending a physical, which is not a detail that should be overlooked.
Nunez re-injured his knee during Game 1 of the ALDS and was knocked out for the series. That came after he had knee problems during the regular season.
The 30-year-old infielder batted .313 with 12 home runs last season. He was particularly good during his brief time in Boston after being acquired from San Francisco, as he batted .321 with an .892 OPS in 38 games for the Sox. He is a versatile infielder who can play second, shortstop or third base, as well as some outfield positions.
