Reds fan does epic backflip, gets tased after storming field
One Cincinnati Reds fan had a night to remember during the team’s Tuesday contest against the Cleveland Guardians at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The fan charged the field with his Reds down 5-2 in the bottom of the 9th inning. He first attempted — and failed — to dap up Guardians center fielder Tyler Freeman. After getting ignored by Freeman, the man ran toward an empty space in the outfield and did a backflip.
A member of stadium security caught up to the man mid-flip. The security guard, armed with a Taser, shot the troublemaker with the Taser darts while in the air. The fan was electrocuted as he tried to run away.

Here’s another angle that shows the fan’s interaction with Freeman.

Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase may have been a little fazed by the literally shocking events to start the bottom half of the 9th inning. He gave up two singles and hit Reds outfielder Blake Dunn to put the tying runs on base. But Clase got TJ Friedl to fly out on one-pitch to secure a 5-3 Guardians win.
