Rougned Odor punching photo autograph session cancelled over timing issues

Rougned Odor will be serving a suspension at some point for his right hook to Jose Bautista’s face, but he had been poised to make a nice payday out of the ordeal, too.

Odor had been set to have an autograph session at a Frisco, Texas store in which customers could pay $99 to have the Rangers second baseman autograph a photo of his punch.

According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the signing, which was slated for June 4, was called off due to concerns over it taking place while Odor was still going through the appeals process of his suspension.

If you were on a slightly tighter budget, Odor would have signed any old photo of himself for $59.

Odor is facing an 8 game ban for his actions, but judging by stuff like this, it’s pretty clear that he doesn’t regret any of it. I mean, he’s got free barbecue out of it, and it’s kind of tough to argue with perks like that.
