Ryan Braun left Saturday’s Milwaukee Brewers game against the New York Mets with back tightness.
Braun singled in the top of the fifth and stole a base. He was then replaced in the bottom of the inning by Hernan Perez.
The Brewers later announced that Braun exited due to back tightness.
Braun was 1-for-3 in the game and is batting just .184 this season, though he does have three home runs. He has played most of his games in left field and some at first base.
