Shin-Soo Choo’s at-bat music is ‘Turn Down for What’

Shin-Soo Choo DJShin-Soo Choo is a straight party animal thug, and it’s just been officially confirmed.

Our friend Lana Berry is a huge Texas Rangers fan and immediately made sure every one of her followers on Twitter knew about Choo, the team’s new free agent signing, and his surprising choice of tunes for his at-bat music. Yes, Choo struts to the plate to the sounds of DJ Snake & Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What.”

The music video for the song is a pretty wild one, and we’ve included it below. The great Nick Pants on Twitter also created this Photoshop GIF of Choo in the music video:

As for the GIF at the top, that was another Nick Pants creation. It’s a take on the old Quad City DJ’s “C’Mon and Ride It” with several Rangers like Choo, Ron Washington, Lance Berkman, Adrian Beltre and Elvis Andrus spliced in. Nick calls it the Choo Choo Train. Perfect.

And I hope everyone knows I was totally joking when I called Choo a party animal thug. He’s just an on-base percentage cyborg.
