Tim Anderson now has ‘beef’ with Royals forever

Tim Anderson

Tim Anderson says he has beef with the Kansas City Royals forever now.

Kansas City starter Glenn Sparkman was ejected after hitting Anderson in the helmet during the second inning of Wednesday’s game with the Chicago White Sox. Even though Sparkman’s pitch was a changeup, he was tossed due to the history between Anderson and KC.

Last year, Anderson and Salvador Perez exchanged words because the Royals catcher was upset with the way Anderson had celebrated a home run. This season he was suspended a game for his language used during a dust-up between the teams that was sparked by his bat flip after a home run. Then on Wednesday he was hit in the head in his first at-bat against the team this series.

That all has led Anderson to say he has a beef with the Royals forever.

This may go on for a while. Anderson, 25, is signed with the White Sox through 2024. The teams are AL Central opponents and will be meeting many more times over the years.
