Vladimir Guerrero Jr. arrives in Toronto wearing dad’s Expos jersey
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is poised to make his MLB debut on Friday, and he arrived in the majors paying tribute to his father.
Baseball’s top prospect has officially been called up by the Blue Jays and, in a nod to his Hall of Fame father, arrived at Rogers Centre wearing his father’s Montreal Expos jersey.

The reminder of Guerrero’s roots is only going to increase excitement among baseball fans. If he can have a similar career to his father, Blue Jays fans are going to be thrilled. His minor league career numbers already were on par, and it’s only served to raise expectations and excitement around the younger Guerrero’s impending debut.
