Willson Contreras

It’s hard to hit a ball much farther than Willson Contreras did on Wednesday night.

The Chicago Cubs catcher gave his team a 1-0 lead in Game 4 of the NLCS with a crushing blow off Los Angeles Dodgers starter Alex Wood that went off the scoreboard at Wrigley Field.

Statcast estimated the home run at an incredible 491 feet. Forgive Contreras for admiring his work:

The Cubs were done with Contreras’ home run. Javy Baez also crushed one down the left field line that gave the Cubs a 2-0 lead.

The Cubs have scored first in all four NLCS games, though they entered Wednesday trailing 3-0 in the series.
