Al Horford can’t be bothered with questions about Markieff Morris
The Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards have played quite physical with one another through the first two games of the Eastern Conference semifinals, and Markieff Morris has found himself at the center of a lot of it. Just don’t ask Al Horford about it.
During Game 1 of the series, Morris injured his ankle when he landed on Horford’s foot. It didn’t appear that Horford did anything intentionally, but Morris has seemed salty with Horford since. The best example of that came when Morris threw Horford into the front row of the stands in overtime in Game 2.
The tension is obvious, but Horford doesn’t even want to give Morris the satisfaction of talking about it.

“I’m not gonna give him anymore play,” Horford said Wednesday. “I’m not gonna give him the time of day.”
Horford is wise to let his play do the talking. After all, Isaiah Thomas did embarrass Morris with a crossover and epic stare-down during Game 2. With the Celtics up 2-0, there’s no need for Horford to say a whole lot.
