Alex Caruso’s new headband look is definitely here to stay.
Speaking with reporters after Tuesday’s win over the New York Knicks, the Los Angeles Lakers guard sang the praises of his fresh accessory.
“It’s got superpowers,” said Caruso, per Lauren A. Jones of LA Sentinel News. “Me and JaVale [McGee] talked about it. It’s got powers.”
Since first donning the headband two games ago, the 25-year-old is averaging 7.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He has also busted out a number of highlight-reel dunks, punctuated by a fitting headband celebration.

Caruso’s head coach already seems to think that he has superpowers, but adding some extra drip to his on-court look certainly won’t hurt.
