Amar’e Stoudemire takes bath in red wine

Amare-Stoudemire-wine-bath

If Amar’e Stoudemire dunked his head underwater and took a big gulp in when he was sitting in the tub on Wednesday, he would have ended up hammered. The New York Knicks forward took a bath in red wine. Yes, actual red wine.

Apparently bathing in red wine is a thing. It’s known as vinotherapy, and studies have shown it can boost circulation and make you feel invigorated due to the benefits of grapeseed oil. Most of us can’t afford it, even if we filled a bathtub with Franzia boxed wine. Knicks fans can only hope it helps keep Amar’e healthy for a full season.
