Andre Drummond is now in his third season with the Detroit Pistons and has appeared in nearly 150 NBA games. Shouldn’t the equipment managers know how to spell his name?
On Monday night, Drummond took the court against the Chicago Bulls with a jersey that said “Drummund” on the back. That is not his name.
Fortunately, the Pistons were able to find a jersey with an “O” and Drummond returned to the game with it. If it makes the big man feel any better, this is hardly the first time we have seen a spelling mistake on a jersey. You can check out all of the others here.
