Andre Iguodala says Kevin Durant is not signing with Knicks
The New York Knicks are hoping for a big offseason that lands them at least one star free agent and possibly two, but Andre Iguodala says their fans had better prepare for a summer of disappointment.
In an appearance on CNBC Monday, Iguodala was asked about the impending free agency of his teammates Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. While he would not say if he knew where either is going to sign, he had some bad news for the Knicks.
“Nobody’s going to the Knicks, sorry.” Iguodala on KD and Klay leaving GSW on CNBC.

Iguodala laughed after making the remark, for what it’s worth. He added that he is hopeful both Durant and Thompson decide to re-sign with the Warriors.
He also said be believed they’d be back with the Warriors, but even if they are not they’re still his brothers.

The Knicks have to be getting anxious with all the reports that are floating around, as they do not seem to have a great chance to land any of the top names on the market. Durant and Kyrie Irving are said to be interested in teaming up, and it sounds like the best chance of that happening is with the Brooklyn Nets. Thompson appears likely to re-sign with Golden State, while Kawhi Leonard could already have narrowed his decision down to two teams. Years of heartache may continue this summer for fans in New York.
