Andre Roberson suffers another setback in return from knee injury

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Andre Roberson has not played this season as he works his way back from knee surgery, and he is going to be out a while long after suffering yet another setback this week.

The Thunder announced on Friday that Roberson experienced discomfort during a workout, and an MRI revealed that he suffered an avulsion fracture in his knee and will be sidelined for at least another six weeks.

Roberson underwent surgery to repair a ruptured patellar tendon suffered in January. The Thunder initially figured he would not miss much time to start the season, but he has now suffered multiple setbacks while trying to make his way back.

Roberson, 26, only played in 39 games last season because of his knee. He averaged 5.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. Roberson is known for being an excellent defender.
