Angel Reese has a deeper connection to her fellow Chicago athlete than you might think.

The Chicago Sky star Reese revealed over social media on Tuesday that she has an interesting link to Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams. The two now apparently share the same nail technician.

During Monday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field in Chicago, Ill., Williams went viral over the unique message that was painted on his nails for the contest.

“Love this,” Reese wrote in response. “My nail tech really wanted to do his nails & she KILLED it! So proud!”

Reese, 23, and Williams, also 23, were both drafted by their respective Chicago teams in 2024. While the former Heisman Trophy winner Williams has been painting his nails for games dating back several years now, it appears that he has since been exchanging info with Reese about manicurists in the area.

That said, neither Reese nor Williams is having a very good time right now in their professional life. Reese and the Sky are now a horrific 10-32 on the year, and Reese herself recently managed to get suspended by both the WNBA and her own team. Meanwhile, Williams went 5-12 as the Bears’ starting quarterback in his rookie season last year and then kicked off this season with a relatively poor teamwide showing during a loss to the Vikings in Week 1.
