Angel Reese isn’t trying to make a big deal about the latest chapter in her feud with Caitlin Clark.

Reese was on the receiving end of a hard foul from Clark during Saturday’s WNBA season opener between the Chicago Sky and the Indiana Fever. In the third quarter at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind., Reese got a wide-open lane to the basket and was wrapped up and knocked down by Clark as she was going up for the shot.

Immediately after being decked, Reese popped up to confront Clark, who was ultimately given a flagrant foul on the play. You can see the video of the incident here.

The Fever were up double digits on the Sky at the time and went on to win in a 93-58 laugher. Speaking with reporters after the game, Reese was asked about Clark’s flagrant foul on her and issued an eight-word response.

“Basketball play, refs got it right, move on,” said Reese succinctly.

Reese finished Saturday’s contest with 12 points on 5/14 shooting and 17 rebounds (seven offensive). Meanwhile, Clark posted a triple-double, scoring a game-high 20 points on 6/13 (including four three-pointers) to go along with 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

The WNBA All-Stars Reese and Clark have beef dating back multiple years at this point. Interestingly enough last season, it was Reese who hit Clark with a hard flagrant foul during a game (and then proceeded to strongly defend herself afterwards).
