Spencer Rivers defended the honor of his brother, Austin Rivers, by getting into it with ESPN NBA writer Amin Elhassan on Twitter Tuesday.
Spencer, who plays for UC Irvine, tweeted Elhassan saying he wish they could fight. Elhassan then came right back at Spencer, though it seemed like both were keeping a pretty good attitude about it.
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RT @Srivers25: @AminESPN high key wish we could fight lol

@Srivers25 Don't end up on that Summer Jam Screen taking L's for family honor!

Spencer then said he had to stick up for his brother because it’s harder for an NBA player like Austin to go after a media member on Twitter, so he was essentially doing the dirty work for him.
@AminESPN haha well my brother can't say anything back to you so I guess I had to! Square up anytime fam!

But Elhassan got in the final insult by posting video of Austin getting hung by the rim on a dunk attempt against the Spurs:

Unfortunately there really isn’t a response for that.
