Ben Simmons on Kyle Lowry altercation: ‘I’m not going to take s— from anybody’
Ben Simmons may only be in his rookie season, but he is already proving that he is definitely about that life.
The Philadelphia 76ers forward was ejected along with Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry after a confrontation with six seconds left in the fourth quarter of their game on Monday. After being tossed, Simmons appeared to gesture for Lowry to meet him outside in the hallway, and Lowry seemed to oblige.

After the game, rumors abounded that the two players actually did have an altercation in the hallway. But addressing reporters later, Simmons denied it.

“I’m not going to take s— from anybody,” Simmons added about Lowry, according to Kyle Neubeck of PhillyVoice.
For his part, the 12-year veteran Lowry had this to say about the incident:

Granted, this might not be the best feud that the Sixers have been involved in this season. But it’s safe to say that we are all very much looking forward to the possibility of a Philadelphia-Toronto playoff series later this spring.
