Watch: Ben Simmons nails Kyle Lowry in the groin
Ben Simmons nailed Kyle Lowry in the groin during Thursday night’s Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors.
Lowry was backing into Simmons under the basket early in the second quarter as a 76ers shot was in the air. Simmons went up to try for the rebound and fell to the ground as Lowry pushed him. Frustrated, Simmons elbowed Lowry in the groin.

There was no stoppage in play after the incident and no flagrant foul handed out because it was probably tough for the officials to see. The league may review the play to determine whether any discipline is called for.
Lowry was having a rough game shooting and was only 1/7 from the field as of the third quarter. Philly went into halftime leading by 11.
