Browns DB made insane promise to Cavs fans he probably can’t keep
Demarious Randall either has a massive fortune tucked away that no one knows about, is confident the Cleveland Cavaliers have no shot to beat the Golden State Warriors, or is simply a liar. But if LeBron James leads his team to an improbable win in the NBA Finals, the Cleveland Browns defensive back is going to be faced with a major dilemma.
After the Cavs defeated the Boston Celtics on Sunday, Randall wrote on Twitter that he will buy a jersey for every person who gives him a retweet if Cleveland wins an NBA title.
If the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2018 NBA finals I’ll buy everyone who retweet’s this a jersey…

As of the time this post was written, Randall had 230,000 retweets and counting. Assuming he was talking about buying everyone a Cavs jersey, that would probably cost about $100 a pop. Simple math would tell you Randall has already made a $23 million promise that will continue to get even bigger, and he insists he’s going to follow through.

Randall wants to see the Warriors win, and he said he “gladly” would have rooted for the Cavs in the Finals if the Houston Rockets prevailed in the West. Either way, he seems to think Cleveland has no shot.
It should be noted that Randall didn’t say he will buy everyone a Cavs jersey. He wasn’t specific, so perhaps he’ll find a loophole if LeBron and company pull it off.
No matter how Stephen Curry feels about his upcoming opponent, the odds are stacked against the Cavs. Randall seems to be taking advantage of that to build his social media following, and it just might work.
