Report: Bryan Colangelo reaching out to those mentioned in tweets linked to him
Bryan Colangelo has taken responsibility for one of the anonymous Twitter accounts that he was accused of operating in a bombshell report, but the Philadelphia 76ers executive insists he did not insult players or other personnel members within the organization.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Colangelo has been reaching out to the people who were mentioned in some of the tweets in question and denying that he wrote them.
76ers president Bryan Colangelo has been actively reaching out to individuals mentioned in those burner accounts, insisting that he isn't responsible for those tweets, league sources tell ESPN. Sixers probe is underway in aftermath of The Ringer story.

There has been some speculation that Colangelo could claim a person close to him created the burner accounts, but that defense probably would not hold much weight.
Here's the problem for Colangelo: 1) If the person who was sending those tweets is someone close to him, can he credibly say he "wasn't responsible" for them? 2) Some or all the tweets may still accurately reflect his thinking/feelings. #Sixers https://t.co/yHceEQDgqo

Joel Embiid, one of the players who was criticized via the secret accounts, has said that he believes the GM until it is proven otherwise. However, fans have come forward with some pretty compelling information that sure makes it seem like Colangelo could be responsible.
The 76ers have launched an investigation into the social media activity, and the case should be pretty easy to solve if they are able to access hard drives and IP addresses.
