Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard left Milwaukee with both a loss and a bruised ego on Wednesday.
The two-time All-Star was shooting free throws in the first quarter of the eventual 115-107 defeat for Portland when he was pelted by chants of “SoundCloud Rapper” from the Bucks fans.

Well that’s a new one. The BMO Harris Bradley Center faithful definitely earn points for creativity, but have they actually heard Lillard rap? Dude has got some serious bars, as the kids today might say.
And rapping isn’t merely a hobby for Lillard, who released his debut studio album The Letter O under the name Dame D.O.L.L.A. in October and is far from just an artist of the SoundCloud variety. So while it was a valiant and inventive effort on the part of the Milwaukee fans, they’ll soon learn, like many others have before them, that it’s best not to disrespect The Dame.
