Rondo is averaging 8.2 points, 7.2 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game this season. He’s coming off just two points on 1-of-4 shooting in the team’s last game against Dallas.
Rondo does have some previous in this department, having received a similar punishment for a few incidents with coach Rick Carlisle while a member of the Dallas Mavericks.
