Oklahoma City Thunder center Chet Holmgren on Thursday channeled his inner Tracy McGrady for a sick highlight against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The crowd at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. erupted early in the third quarter after Holmgren threw an alley-oop to himself off the backboard.
The Thunder rookie faked out Clippers center Ivica Zubac, lobbed the ball softly off the glass, and slammed it in to give OKC the 74-73 lead.

Holmgren finished with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists on a stellar 9/11 shooting clip.
The 7-foot Gonzaga alum isn’t going to miss many attempts close to the rim thanks to his 7’6″ wingspan. Holmgren’s freakish length is the reason why he can dunk on defenders with ease — like he did in this play during the second quarter.

But despite a game filled with highlights, Holmgren deflected the spotlight away from himself. He posted on X after the game, claiming Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander should have a perfect 100 rating on NBA 2K.
“I just realized shai isn’t a 100 on 2k, what r (sic) we doing,” wrote Holmgren.

Gilgeous-Alexander led all scorers with 31 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals in the contest.
The Thunder duo led the way in snapping the Clippers’ 9-game winning streak entering Thursday’s matchup.
