Chris Bosh had to deal with some very unfortunate circumstances when he returned home from his 29th birthday party early Thursday morning, which has led to the greatness of the actual party being swept under the rug. Bosh’s good mood probably disappeared when he got to his house and realized more than $340,000 worth of his stuff had been stolen, but the party itself sounds like it was a blast.
According to Joe Goodman of the Miami Herald, Bosh’s birthday bash was Moroccan-themed and included a camel named Henri. The theme helps explain the photo of Bosh’s cake that Goodman shared with us, which features a figurine of himself riding a chocolate elephant.
Insiders from the party also said that there were fire-eaters and belly dancers in addition to the camel, which they said peed an extraordinary amount. Last week for his actual birthday, Bosh was entertained by a mariachi band. The cake from this week wasn’t quite as extravagant as some of the LeBron James birthday cakes we have seen in the past, but I don’t know how you can get anymore crazy than a Moroccan theme and a live camel. Oh, that’s right — Dwyane Wade had a $230,000 car airlifted into a hotel pool area for his birthday. Nevermind.
