CJ Watson got a free meal after being mistaken for CJ Miles
Here’s one guy who’s enjoying the benefits that come with his membership in the NBA CJ Club.
Orlando Magic guard CJ Watson said on Twitter Tuesday that he’s been confused for Indiana Pacers sharpshooter CJ Miles on multiple occasions in the last few weeks but reveled in the fact that he actually managed to get a free meal out of the case of mistaken identity.
This is like the 3rd time in like 3 weeks somebody has called me @masfresco smh I kno I'm not that ugly lol but I got a free meal out it?

Miles, for his part, was a good sport about Watson’s dig.
Lmao bruh chill.. But where you eat at tho? I'm going lol https://t.co/uIQGnDvX1A

The bond between the two actually runs deeper than in name only, as they were briefly teammates on the Pacers during the 2014-15 season. Though if there’s anybody who should be treating his fellow Association CJs to a free meal, it’s probably Portland’s CJ McCollum, who got a max contract extension from the Blazers this summer.
