Lou Williams has not yet shared his plans about playing the NBA’s restart in Orlando later this month, but the LA Clippers are expecting him to play.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers spoke with the media on Thursday and shared his expectations about Williams’ participation.

“As far as Lou, all indications are that yes, he is (in),” Rivers said, via The Athletic. “I mean, obviously up until we get on the plane, anything can happen. But I do expect Lou to be with us. I would be very surprised if he’s not.”

Williams said in mid-June that he was considering sitting out to focus on social issues. The three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year is averaging 18.7 points per game this season.

The Clippers on Thursday shut down their practice facility after a positive COVID-19 test.
